Are 57 chev and gmc hoods the same?

    Just wondering if they are interchangable.

    Interchangable, yes. The same, no. The Chevy hood is solid on the front surface. The GMC hood has an opening. Attached is a picture of my '57 GMC, with a '56 GMC insert in the opening.
