    hi all
a few weeks back i was on here looking for help with axles for my 3/4 ton truck and received great advice (thanks to you all) armed with your advice i put a add in on line (in the UK and ended up buying a half ton axle with disc conversion already done, and a rear axle off what we think is a camaro? I need to identify the rear axle are there casting numbers on it that will identify it?, also the front brakes, the only numbers i can find on the caliper is 328 cast on the body its a single piston 11'' rotor and after looking at the adverts for new ones i would say it is camaro but what year? can any body help many thanks Steve

Steve, yes there should be a casting number somewhere on the rear axle in amongst all of the grease, dried mud, etc. If you find it, post it, and I'm sure one of us computer detectives can cross reference it.
