It was an easy modification to do although the cab was of the chassis.Make sure the battery you use will fit between the step and the frame rail and the interior step.I made the box first 1" wider and longer and 2" taller than the battery with a lip to put a 1/4" thick plastic top. When you cut the floor board make sure not cut into the seat support. The box will start directly in front of the seat support, and as close as you can get to edge of the step as you can get.Layout the rest of the cut out accordingly.Cut the battery cable holes before installing the box.Weld the box in and your finished. When i installed my carpet i had to make a cut in the carpet and didn't want the anyone to trip over the flap so i made a trim piece to cover the edge and the seam to clean things up.If anyone doe's this and needs additional pictures let me know.I'll be glad to help.

Thanks for the write-up. That looks very nice and I would love to move my battery. Looks like yet another project for Blue Thunder this winter.

    Well Done !

Thanx for the good DIY how-too Bobby .

Remember to place rubber anti-chafe grommets on the cables as Bobby did ! .
