Fellow came by the shop today with a 49 three window that had a 4200 Atlas (Vortech) I6 in it. Snug fit length wise but looked good. Took for a drive and is super smooth with PLENTY of power. Said it's running about 25 miles on a gallon of gas with him not feather footing it most of the time. My wife had the camera for a birthday party but will try to get some pics if he comes back by. He wanted some body work so expect to see him again.

    I look forward to pictures!
I assume he used the transmission it was hooked to and had to pull the wiring it came with to make it all work?

Yeah, Evan, I remember you telling us, you wanted to do a swap with that engine. Interesting. I'm looking forward to pictures, if you can get some.
That engine should provide enough power for light towing, also.

Too bad Nate is absent, him being Mr. Inliner.
