thanks alot guys, iam new to this forum, but have immediately seen it's huge value, and am also new to mechanicing. but i've loved these trucks for over 20 years and now finally have one. i will probably live with the tranny for awhile, this is not going to be a daily driver, with our weather it will be more like a monthly run around and rip up the town a bit! seriously though, parts vehicles are almost non existent here, so finding those big block towers are going to be tough. do you know of any junk yards where i may find some to send to me? thanks alot for your help
