Im blowing alot of blue now, so I'm thinking I need at least new rings. Does anyone know a website that would have some helpful tutorial reading on the subject???
Any high school or college basic auto mechanics textbook should address this as well as many other troubleshooting hints. Also, Chilton's, Motor, Clymer, etc. manuals provide step-by-step troubleshooting and rebuild procedures. Yes, it sounds like you need new rings, at least, if not a bore job and new pistons.
