just picked up a 70 C-10 that has a home made bed floor and no panels,fender, or tailgate.I looked up the body style bye the vin number and instead of telling me its either a fleetside or stepside/long or short bed(its definitly a short bed)the vin decoder just gives me "cab chassis" as a body style.Any help here would be appreciated
That means that it was manufactured and sold without a bed (frame only behind the cab) for buying an aftermarket (ususally) flatbed.
