    Jon, Maybe it's just me but why does everyone love these old worn bomber belts so much ? Does not seem the safe way to go as far as seat belts plus the cost is a joke. I think best served with the lap belts you can get a lot cheaper from CP

    yeah, i know, but i just think they're cool looking. and if i can get them cheaply, i'll re-web them so they're just like new and looking cool. the problem is finding them cheaply.

    You might try the War Surplus heavy equipment places (Rocks & dirt ~ are they still around ?) as I know the Army was still using WWII typ lap belts on construction equipt. in the early 70's......

    If I could figure out where the heck I put my set , I'd give 'em to you as I don't think they're safe (said the man who drives a death trap truck at speed)

    Maybe Antelope Valley Truck Parts (?) in Lancaster , Ca. ? I dunno if that's the place but there's a guy out there who's entire surplus biz is selling old truck parts from Eadwrds Air Force Base....

    O.K. Jon ;

    I still have some stuff I'v not poked into in some years out there ~ a couple years ago I opened a box and it was all filled to th4 brim with vintage owner's manuals , even one for my buddy's old 1967 Yammer YL2-C......

    Hadn't seen that since 1978 or so....

    OK, Jon, that picture is from a website. They list those belts as $10 each. Here is the link. www.astory.com The belts are on page www.astory.com/aircraft/airframe Look toward the bottom. The web page is pretty basic, but there is a phone number. Might be worth a shot. Good luck.....Mike

    I feel your Pain!

    The only thing i have ever been successful in getting from E-Pay is something that has "buy it now" on it.

    theres a program you can download that you put in the highest bid you want to go to for an item and it will out bid anyone else in the last seconds of the auction up to your limit, not what i call cricket.

    belts

    Jon, check www.flyboyplus.com I read a link on a hotrod site that says he's got a bunch of old belts, new, used, etc., various styles and conditions. You will have to contact them, as they say they have too much to list. It's worth a try. Good luck....Mike
