The BEST Part ~

Indeed , was sitting out side the park on the bridge chatting with Charles and a few other old Truckers , listening to each and every rig as it came down the off ramp and stopped before letting out the clutch and going up through the gears going past us ~ from Hot Rods with roaring 454's V-ates to old clapped out rusty Work Rigs that wheezed & smoked , loose 6 Banger timing gears whirring louder than their rusted out mufflers and howling rear ends , lurched and rattled by , all of it was sweet music to this old Mechanic's ears .

I was just sitting tonight looking at all the photos of the show and noticed I mainly took only AD photos and some Task Force trucks, then it hit me again i miss my old 1965 big window C20 I had it for 23 years until my only stepson I ever had trashed it.

I'm Lucky ~

As I grew up with nothing and so early on I learned that things gotten too easily are not valued , this is why I don't loan out tools nor my vehicles .

On the other hand , it was only a truck and hopefully the boy learned something

The boy now is about to be a grandfather his self, and from what I see of him he has been doing okay. As for the truck I still miss it and I could have re-fixed it up again, but did not.
