Trying to help my father-in-law out with his 70 C/30 (mason) dumptruck & need to replace or fab up a new tranny crossmember cause his is rusting through & getting weak. Any ideas on where to locate one of these? I'm not sure which tranny it is, it's a 4 spd w/ grannie gear & a PTO out for the hydraulic pump under the bed & it looks like the PTO shaft support (which is attached to the xmember) was just fabbed up by the person who built the bed. He wants to look into replacing it with a factory x member first, but I told him it'd be a long shot, so I may end up just fab'in one up using 2x4x3/16" box tube & call it a day. Thanks for any leads.... eric btw- already checked into Classic industries, LMC truck & here with no luck other than a c10 tubular mount, which I'm guessing is used for a lowered truck.
