    Hey guys
Ive found the age of my clip , its a 73 . Problem no 2 , can anyone tell me if the engine is offset on the mounts slightly i have measured every way possible before cutting the clip prior to fitment into my 1950 chevy truck. the problem is i have found the centre of the subframe in relation to my truck frame ,but theres a a difference between one side and the other as far as the engine mounts are concerned.
There is a flat section on the drivers side clip above the mount point ,i take it this is because of the steering column shaft?!!
i have measured the bottom arms and they are the same distance outwards towards the hubs, please someone tell me im not mad and GM did offset the engine to get round the steering shaft, either that or ive made a big balls up with the grinder !!!!
    Thanks ASH
