I have 65 c-10 with the factory 4spd with crawler. It has 15" rims and little dry-rotted p205 bias ply tires on it right now. Although I can get it going @70mph+ on the highway the 230 motor, is pretty much in hyperdrive rpms. I am trying to locate some stock 16" rims because, not only will they look better, but I'm thinking larger tires and rims will lower my highway rpms and give me a little better milage (rather than going to all the trouble of messing w/my rear end). My questions are:
    1. Will my rpms be much lower with larger tire diameter?

    2. Well my 1/2 ton pickup accomodate a larger rim/ tire size on its current suspension?

    3. If it needs to be lifted a bit higher, would replacing the 1/2 ton coils with Chevy Duty 3/4 ton springs make any significant diff????? :7

Yes a taller tire can drop your RPM's but it's not going to be a whole lot but it will make a difference. A 205 is a pretty small tire I would put as big a tire as will allow,It might be enough to try a 235 75 15 thats a pretty tall tire.
