I have a 58 235 and a Rochester C it came on the motor and a Carter YF both need rebuilt. Is there any advantages to using one or the other. The Carter is set up to take the chock and throttle controls but the bracket looks like it would fit on the Rochester

    Thanks

    I'm assuming you meant ' B ' series Rochester .

The YF is vastly superior and if you're careful in overhauling it , you'll instantly notice the improvement .

Do not dispose of the Rochester until you're 100 % satisfied with the YF .

    Thanks Nate

There is some light at the end of this 10 year project.
