    1/2 ton frame?

    The '54/'55 frame is different from the 47-53 frames (1/2 ton).

    I did'nt know they were different. I knew the late 55 (second series) were different, but I thought the frames were the same up to 54. Well you learn something new everyday. Yes, I do need a half ton short wheelbase. I can not seem to find one! All I need is the frame, no suspension parts front or rear, due to updated mods I will be doing. If you come across one let me know. Where are you located? Thanks for the help. John

    I saw 3 50-53 trucks in a yard in Newark CA (SF Bayarea) today.
