I bought a center console from a '82 Blazer to put in my truck when I install bucket seats. I've taken apart standard latches on glove boxes, but this is the first locking one I've dealt with. I dont have the key, which I've heard is needed to remove the latch. Anyone know if this is true? Are there any other ways to remove it without destroying the lid? Thanks in advance
