changing seat

    Hi iv got a problem i have a 86 chevy truck and i would like to know if a 60/40 seat out a 2000 or 2002 chevy truck seat well fit i know there is a bolt down problem but im a machinest i can handle that but are the newer seats to big to fit that is my problem has any one out there done this thanks

    with a torch and a big enough hammer it will friggin' fit...

    your need sum scrap iron flat pieces and sum c channel n a welder it takes sum time bit i did it....

    Check out my reply in the other post on the General Board. It's doable but a major modification to the floor board. You can't just modify the brackets cuz i tried that. You have to cut into the floor board but once you do it, it looks really good and makes a huge difference. My interior looks really nice now that I've done it to my 77.
