The OSHA guys would have a heart attack just watching this video. The guys working in the factories back then had to be alert all day, or get eaten alive by the equipment around them.

Impressive! Demanded coordination and concentration for repetitive work. Didn't see any missing fingers! I can imagine the noise of that machinery and hammering too! Impressive. Lots of folks from the hill country traveled up to work in Detroit, etc, to get out of the coal mines, and for decent steady pay. Maybe more so towards the 40's and 50's.
