Hello All.... I'm new here.... I've been looking for the past few days, on Engine Info on the 1984 Chevy 305 V8 thats in the 1984 Chevy Silverado, I dont know if its a LG4 or not, but I havent been able to find any Technical Stuff about it... Also I need websites that have Technical Info on a 1974 CHevy 454 V8 that came in my 1974 Chevy Cheyenne Super 10, as the body is all but shot, but I'm putting the 454 into the 1984 Silverado in the future.... Chevrolet made 4 305 engines - there was one named the LG9 which is probably yours. Three had carbs, one was fuel injected. Here's the breakdown of those 3: LE9 (Non C.A.) had 160 hp and 235 lb torque LF3 (C.A.) had 155 hp and 240 lb torque LG9 (2bbl) had 130 hp and 240 lb torque Yea...I gotta go now but I hoped that helped a little!
Thanks... I think I got the LF3 CA 305... its got a Rochester Quadrajet 4 bbl (I think its factory, but I got the truck used, so the motor might have been changed) but its got the CA Emmissions package with the CA PCV system, but I have all the emissions off except the PCV
Does anyone happen to know the RPO code for the 1974 454 Truck Engine that came in the 1974 Chevy Cheyenne Super 10 trucks... thanks
