    Hi guys

The saginaw/patricks 4 speed tranny is finally finished and ready for use. I`ll think i will install it next spring after i am back from a long buisness trip to Oregon.

Before starting to use the truck next spring i want to upgrade the drum brakes and wonder if some of you guys uses the power brake conversian for the standard drumbrakes ? I would like to hear your experiences with this solution. I `ll mean to remove the old master brake cylinder wich gives less brakepower, and install the power brake conversian instead. I want to keep the drumsbrakes/tubes wich are fully restored ?

Next on my list of smaller projects is to change out the seat bench cover with another color and texture. A bit like the one attached on the picture. The black ordinary one i am using today is `nt really comfortable sitting on and does `nt fit so well together with the trucks colors elsewhere.
I am open for advice here and web adresses from Vendors selling 2 tone covers for the 1/2 t. truck bench.

I have been to Oslo this week to fetch back my old Nimbus motorcycle wich whas send in retour from Danmark. It came by boat and i picked it up in the harbour. Well i allready restored and painted the windscreen for my old 49 motorcycle and overhauled the tranny and rearwheel and cardan to.
So now i am able to drive wih a 4 sp. tranny instead of the usual 3sp. tranny. It will bring me up to 65 miles an hour with the sidecar it has. The inline engine likes that much better as it easely can be a bit hotter at the 3.trd. cylinder. This is because its a four in line like the old indian four and the Henderson 4 inline , they had the same issue with the 3.trd. cylinder getting easely to warm. There is no cooling except from what the wind and oil are giving it.

This is how the 4 cylinder engine sounds , its allmost like a big Hoover vacume cleaner ..... ha ah ha ah .

THANK YOU for the Nimbus links ! :) I'm still not riding since my accident and they were so fun to watch .

I see quite a few have delivery boxes instead of chairs attached.....

    Martinus' Seat

    I assume you noticed it's in a '63 (?) , not his AD .

It looks O.K. , depending on how the rest of the truck is finished .
