Cleaning aluminum wheels

    Just recently purchased aluminum wheels that needed some cleaning attention. Tips on cleaning and keeping them looking sharp would be appreciated.:)

    Mother's Aluminum Polish and lots of elbow grease. ;)

    I too have to polish my rim's have you tried using a polisher with the Mothers? If so what kind of disc?

    It doesnt take any pressure for Mothers to work. If you have a lot of oxidation you might want to use a rubbing compound first, then a polishing compound like DuPont #7. #7 is a light compound that polishes really well, hard to make any scratches unlike rubbing compound. Then use the Mothers. It will make aluminum look like chrome. Hope this helps..Ed
