    Hello there,

I purchased some new clips that hold the trim piece that goes between the dash and windshield. The new ones are quite a bit heavier than the old ones. I find it fairly difficult to push the old ones in, and impossible to push the newer, heavier ones in.

I have attached a picture, the old one is on the left and the new heavier part is on the right.

Anyone have suggestions on using these new clips, I don't have enough of the old ones.

    Thanks a ton.

I had the same problem with mine. just give them a little squeeze with a pair of pliers.the new ones will fit with a little massaging.

We use "Door Ease" on the trim molding clips. It comes in like a lipstick tube and is for door latches. It is like a heavy bees wax so it doesn't smear or run out from under the molding. Rub a little on and they will go in much easier which when your pushing on flexy body panels can save dents from forming.
