Hi all I need a bit of help to identity my interior paint color. My truck is a '65 C10 Std. Trim - Light green painted. My research shows me that the interior color should be Medium Fawn Poly (22151). I have done some minor repairs on the inside of the doors, and therefor want to get a spray paint toned to the match the color. When disassembling the doors, it looks to me that the interior/doors may not have the original tone anymore. I may be painted in a darker tone. Can any of you from the pictures advice me if the "more" or "less gold looking" color is the original "medium fawn Poly"? I guess it is the "less gold" - If so, can any of you tell if the repainted could be a darker tone Chevy Fawn?, if so do you have a guess on the color code? In worst case I have to bring a piece of the interior to a paint shop to match it, but would very much like to avoid this, since the is no one who can tone a spray paint in my local area. Looking forward to your response. Thanks! Martin
The color that is on the door, under the removable door panels, looks factory correct. The color that is more gold looking doesn't look factory correct to me. That being said I rattle can painted my interior with a color that looks very similar to the gold color you have, and I like it.... has that 60's vibe to it. Here is a shot of the door on my truck with the panel removed... color looks just about like yours.
Tanks! I believe you are right. Does anyone know if the golden paint could be another Chevy fawn paint? - if so, a guess on the color code?
