condenser on ignition coil

    Alright, 1st dumb question from me. I took my ignition coil off to give it a good cleaning(wiped dirt and oil off) and forgot what side of the coil my condenser hooks up to (+ or -). Would anybody be kind enough to tell me what side it fastens to.

    Assuming there is a condenser inside your distributor, electrically across your points, the condenser on your coil is designed to keep "ignition noise" from the coil out of the primary (6 or 12 volt) system of your truck. So it should attach to the voltage supply side of your coil. Assuming negative ground (sorry Zig) that would be the + side of the coil.
