Hi Guys, I need some C10 brake advice. Maybe somebody has went through this before. I've got an 83 C-10 that I've been slowly upgrading from the 6 to a V-8. The drive train has been done. The Truck had manual brakes and I recently decided to convert the brakes over to Power since I've added more power and it does not stop worth a crap. It has the smaller Rotors (25mm wide), calipers and narrower rear (2") brake shoes. I've Installed the Booster. The upgrade actually worked very well except with the extra force to the roters, I've found the rotors need to be replaced. Now here come the questions.

    1. Is the proportioning valve the same between the Manual and Power brake systems? I can't find where there are any different part numbers for this.
    2. With the booster now on, should I upgrade to the 30mm wide Rotors and larger calipers? I won't be towing anything
    3. Will the larger rotors and calipers fit with my stock 7" rally wheels?, and is this a bolt on swap to the spindle?
    4. Should I just stay with the 25mm wide rotor and smaller calipers with the Power upgrade and will smaller caliper pistons hold up to the extra hydraulic pressure?

The reason I'm asking all of this is because I have a set of new roters which are the larger ones, (ordered wrong set) I either need to exchange them or get new calipers to match. Of course it would be easier just to get he correct rotors for the calipers I have, but will the smaller calipers hold up to the added pressure over time?

I'm just guessing with my wallet and was hoping one of you had maybe went through this.

    Any advice would be great.

    Thanks/Scott
