Rats~ Now I'll have to keep a lighter in the truck... The way I love beans, I could forget the spray he was using. Thanks for the video! I now can tell my daughter that daddy is just checking on his "fix-a-flat" reserves.
Done that! Yep, it works like a charm! A buddy of mine showed me that trick. We fought for something like an hour with a lawn mower tire, trying to seat the bead. Finally he got out the starting fluid and lit it, we were ready to hit the valve stem with air and did. Of course, the tire jumped off the garage floor about 6 inches. It was not mounted on the lawn mower. Being a pyro, I loved it!
Cool flat fix I used to light farts when I was a kid (until about 49), but burnt the hair off my hiney crack and stopped doing it. KentC
Yes Cchar , it will work on a tractor tire , But I Wouldn,t suggest doing it on the tractor. There was a Video on Utube that showed someone doing it with Really bad Results Burning the Whole tractor up , It has since been Removed . But Heres one That shows it doesn,t allways work out for the best. It Does Work But You Have to be Very Carefull , I,ve done Several With No mishaps YET . Thanks Bob, Some of the other flicks show some interesting results, but . Think I'll stay with the come a long method or taking a rope and twisting it till the tire beads. I have not had to do a tractor tire in some time. Easier to have the tire guy mess with them most use that soft soap on the rim tire method.
