I just finished pulling my dash apart to replace a few burnt out bulbs and accidently bumped the needle on my speedo. It came right off the gauge and it looks like a spring uncoiled behind it. Has anyone delt with this before, and can it be fixed? Or, am I going to have to buy a new speedometer gauge. Thanks in advance!
Some time you can fix them is it broken or is it just pop out?. first you will have to try to turn the spring as in will go if you where speeding up then let it go. Let it go back to where it like to sit. Then try to pop on the neddle pointing at the 0 mark try to give a light spin up to 30 mph let it go back see if it zero out. Then road test . If it's way off you need to keep playing or buy new one or if you broken it you need a new one.
