Decode VIN for a new collector

    I will be starting my first old truck restoration soon and would like to know the trivia about my truck's VIN. Thanks for any help. 2FS-H-4175

    Welcome Bob!

    Your truck's serial number breaks down as follows: 1948 one ton, built at the Tarryton, NY plant in August. It was the 3175th unit to roll out.
