Hi, I got a 1962 c-10 long bed fleetside model. I wanna change differential for a 3.43, 3.23 or closest. I wanna know precisely on what year and model of vehicule (car or truck)i can get this differential. Here`s my actual set-up: 305 engine (`81 camaro), 700r4 trans., 285-70-15 tires with 55" from brake back plate to brake back plate. With that set-up, i still don`t have enough highway speed. . I don`t wanna change gear because i want a locked type diff. Anyone can help? Thank you, Bob bobgallagher@sympatico.ca
Hi Bob, Look for a 1967-72 Chevy truck rear with 3: 33 gears. They can be found with 6 lugs and will bolt right in. Dvalentine
