I am still getting dirty brake fluid after replacing the brakes on my '66 truck. I have run 2 full quarts of fluid thru my lines to bleed and flush the system (starting from farthest wheel). I also had to replace the hoses in front and the cylinders in the rear. Do I need to try something else or can this be okay to run on?

After I had replaced all of my wheel cylinders it took me a good 3 quarts of flushing until it was clear. I bled the rear passenger side first until it was clear and then worked my way to the front. Also before I started bleeding I removed all the fluid from the master cylinder. There was a little sludge in the bottom of it. After that no problems. Good luck.

I guess I will go get another quart of brake fluid then.
Someone told me I would need to replace the master cylinder because
I couldn't get clean fluid. I couldn't see why. The bottom of mine had no residue. In fact, before beginning the brake repairs, I peered into the cylinder and found it dry! That was AFTER I drove it around the block to the carport in my backyard! Yikes.
