Anyone have experience with a distributor upgrade??? I came across the following article http://customclassictrucks.com/howto/29459/ and sure sounds like this setup would perform much better than the "original" distributor in my rebuilt 250. Although my experience with the old points distributor has been just fine...Thanks for sharing...Steve
I got a super simple Malory cap/rotor and coil on my 66. It works like a dream. One pump of gas and a bump of the starter and she's purring. I also used 8mm wires for less resistance to the plugs. It is also nice not having to mess with points....ever.
