Boys, this is a painful message to write. Finally, after 5 years in my garage and alot of Sunday afternoon tinkering, my dad's 63 C-10 is at the body shop to get re-born. Get "the call" today and it's not good news. The roof, overlooking the windshield is totally, completely rusted through to the inside. I knew this going in, but, I thought maybe it could be salvaged. Drivers floor has some rust through but he didn't think it would be fixable. so, here I sit, BEGGING for a DONOR CAB. I don't need doors, just the cab itself. This is a 63 C-10, with the small back window. I am in South-Central Texas but i don't mind driving. Any help?
It's been a couple of years but the is this farm off of Flower Mound Rd in Lawton OK that had quite a few trucks from this era sitting in a field. The farmer did make me a good deal on some parts. I just wish I had beter info for you. Also in Wichita Falls TX there are a few sitting in junk yards all around Sheppard AFB.
