    I am trying to rebuild my doors glass assemblies and upon pulling the felt channel out of the door, the metal bracket that holds it at the rear of the door came out with it in 2 pieces. It obviously broke off its mounting screws. Question--is this part available? Also the bolt at the bottom of the vent window assembly inside the door will not come loose . I have soaked it in penetrating oil and all that I have done is rounded off the bolt. Any ideas? Thanks, Doug

    Channels

    Our host has the channels # 03-917 LH and # 03-918 RH

    The bolts are sheet metal screws you can drill them out.

    Hope this helps.:)

    Door (not) Fun

    Doug ;

    How's the rest of the door ? if they're the usual bent and rusted out junk , go country searching for some junked BIG 'Bolts as all series use the same doors and Big 'Bolts were higher off the road and so tend to have less rust and damage...

    Best of all , that stripped cab & chassis you find , NO ONE will ever buy the doors , thinking they're different so they'll be cheap , like $20.00 each complete .

    Door glass......

    Thanks for the info. I see them now in the catalog. Thanks too Nate. Thats good info to know about the doors all being the same. My doors are pretty sound structurally. Also welcome back, Nate. I have learned a lot from your posts in the time I have been a member. I wish you a complete and speedy recovery. Doug
