What has everyone used to get rid of the tintyness sound when you close the doors. I closed a door on a 52 the other day that has been totally restored and the door closed with a nice solid thud. When I close mine it sounds like a tin can. Thanks in advance for everyone's comments. Dave

Send us a Picture of the door(s) , hinges , rubber door moldings and Locks ect. in question and tell us in what condition everything is ? Maybe you have to restore the doors and use a good quality sound dediner ?

I am a big fan of hushmat. It isn't as particuar of cleanliness an Dynamat. I have an intire bulk kit in my truck. Even the roof sounds solid.

I used hushmat, (from our host) as well. Applied one sheet to the outer skin of each door, and one sheet to the inner panel. Doors close solid and much quieter. I also put a couple of sheets on roof, and back of cab. I think I bought the 10 pack. Other areas, I used the foil backed pad and I'm sure it has helped as well. My truck is much, much quieter with the sound deadener installed.
