I HAVE A 66 C-10 LONG BED FLEETSIDE AND I REPLACED THE 3 SPEED COLUMN WITH A 350 TURBO BUT I HAD TO CUT THE DRIVE SHAFT TO FIT IT. I DONT WANT A TWO PIECE ANY MORE, BECAUSE THE CARRIER BEARING IT TOOO SMALL AND NOT VERY RELIABLE FOR MY DRIVING. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET A ONE PIECE. I WAS THINKING OF TAKING ON OFF OF A CHEVY 1500 CREW CAB LONG BED BUT I AM AFRAID IT WILL NOT FIT EITHER. NEED HELP IF SOMEONE HAS DONE THIS OR SOMETHING FAMILIAR. THANKS .

WHEN I PUT MY TURBO350 IN MY 66, I GOT THE ONE PIECE DRIVE SHAFT THAT ORIGANALY CAME WITH THE TURBO350, THEY BOTH CAME OUT OF AN 86 LONG BED 2WD. THE DRIVE LINE IS A BIT LONG AND WILL HAVE TO BE SHORTENED. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DO THE SAME, JUST MAKE SURE THERES ROOM ON THE ONE PIECE TO CUT OUT ABOUT 3.5 TO 4 INCHES TO MAKE IT FIT. TAKE IT TO YOUR LOCAL DRIVELINE SHOP AND THEY CAN SHORTEN IT AND ADD QUALITY UJOINTS FOR AROUND $100 TO $125.
    GOOD LUCK
