What's the consensus on the 2-piece drivelines as compared to replacement with a single unit? I plan to install a 4" or 6" lift kit on the 4-by, and have only heard a couple of comments about changing the factory driveline with aftermarket.
I'd appreciate hearing pros and cons, especially with respect to a lifted 4-by application.
Also, does anyone know of a company in California that specializes in axle mods? Especially adding a front air locker, disc brakes to both axles, and general overhaul and update.
