DRIVESHAFT FROM 3 SPEED TO A 350 XMSN

    I HAVE A 3 SPEED MANUAL XMSN AND WANT TO PUT IN A 350 AUTO WILL I HAVE TO CHANGE THE DRIVESHAFT I KNOW THE SPINDLE IS DIFERENT CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY ADVISE, THANKS

    I'm by no means an expert in this area, but I know that whether or not you'll have to make mods to your driveshaft will depend on which version of the TH350 you have. If you have the short tail shaft turbo 350 I've heard that it's a direct bolt in. The long tail shaft version would require shortening of the driveshaft.

    Just be sure to get the driveshaft balanced if it has to be shortened. Else your truck will feel as if you're riding on the final spin cycle of the washing machine!
