Well, I've been busy; haven't posted for 6 months. Progress has been made with my frame, rear end/suspension, front suspension all blasted powdercoated, rebuilt and assembled. Finished assembling the 261 after machine work (.040 bore, .010/.010 crank), all new stuff and an original green paint job. Now the question: I'm using an Offy dual intake and Fenton headers w/ a Howard cam. My carb is the original Rochester bigger throat "B" and I understand they're hard to come by. Thought about using the "B" from the 235 but I've heard they don't play well together. What else could I use? #####, Zeniths? Also found out the Saginaw 2 groove spline 4 spd I just rebuilt isn't going to work out because I'm a lwb with 2 piece driveshaft. It's fresh and for sale.

What are you asking for the 4-speed?

Trans is from a 74 Vega, 2 groove spline. All new bearings, synchros, seals AND a new first gear (old one had some pits). Case cleaned and painted hi-temp cast iron. Comes with yoke and 1 foot or so of driveshaft from same. I have receipts for all parts. Asking $495.
