Dual master

I'm looking at the dual master cylinder conversion with out a power booster.

The question is can I keep the standard 4 speed transmission or does the clutch have to be removed to make room for the dual?

Has anyone here actually done this conversion?

I've done this on my 58, it's so easy you can have this done in an hour or two, take your pedal out of the floor board, then take off the brake lines from the master, then take the 2 bolts out to thr frame and pay attention to how the pedal assembly is mounted, for the new set up you'll need a 73-78 Chevy/ GMC 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive with MANUAL DISC brake master cylinder, bench bleed the assmble the bracket the pedal assembly to the frame then mount the master cylinder to the bracket and hook up your pedal to the master...then here comes the fun!!! you have to modify your brake lines, it isn't that hard to do, then bleed the system and have fun!

you do not have to mess with the transmission or clutch at all to get this in.

Disc brake cylinder??? or 4 wheel drum brake cylinder?

That brings another question to mind...what is the process for bench bleeding?
