I have an 85 crew cab. Was wondering if anyone knows how the door lock actuators come out. Does the latch mechanism have to come out with it. I can't seem to get the actuator off the lock rod with it still in the door.
the inner door latch has to come out. there are 2 bolts i think that holds the actuator in place. there is a clip that connects to the connecting rod. this clip has a "C" clip that connects to the rod. you can easly push this off w/ your finger.
Also GET a drop light in tbere.
