I was just looking for some input and some clarification on using electrolysis for rust removal. I have bought a 50 gallon plastic tub. I have bought a battery charger that has a 2 amp trickle charge, a 20 amp normal charge, a 50 amp rapid charge, and a 150 jump start capability. I have bought some 6 x 6 concrete mesh as well as 2 -10' sticks of 1/2" rebar to ultimately attach to to the 6 x 6 mesh with tie wire so I can make a cage around the complete inside of the plastic tub. I have also bought the arm and hammer washing soda to mix with the water. What good advice is there out there?

    I was wondering the following:

    1. What setting should I put the battery charger on?
    2. Any special formulation for water and washing soda?
    3. Are there any parts that I SHOULD NOT use this method of rust removal on?
    4. Am I ok to drop my block and head in the solution and use this method?

Thanks for everyone's input and advice
