Anyone know what part to ask for and where to get the part that keeps the emergency/park brake engaged when you take the foot off the petal?

Willard - How many (if any) of the parts do you have? I needed to replace the spring at the floor board that pushes against the flat bar that holds the pedal bar engaged. JC part # MEB115

Or, get in touch with JIMBO59CHEVY. He parts out trucks in Texas. Guaranteed he will have the complete deal for you at a good price. You can always find him on the Stovebolt page or search for members on ebay. He's there. But you CAN find his phone number on the Stovebolt page swap meet section.

Thanks Larry. I have looked at a old GMC manual 47-54. It looks like it has a spring in the drawing but it says nothing abont a spring, but I dont have a spring on mine. I need to buy the spring you mention but dont know who to order it from.

I should have the flat rod from the pedal, the round bar that goes to the knob, and the spring...
