Engine and carb number help needed

    I have a 1963 283v8 (thats what i think it is). The number i found is FO205D or F0205D. I need to get the carb # off of the carb. The number in found was C-2. its a rochester 2-jetif theat helps.

    My book indicates that your engine is a 59-64 283 V8. Can't help on the carburetor.

    Thanks for your help. the motor is in a 63 chevy truck. and a what do you guys out there think about a 3 2 barrel set up on it.

    If you are into show they look cool, but lack practicality. A single four barrel will out perform them and you only have one carburetor to keep in adjustment instead of three (unless you run only on the center one which is what some guys do). It's really a matter of choice and how you want you use your truck.
