I'm an amateur restorer interested in purchasing new harnesses for my 71C10. I have a few dilemmas! My 71 has a 305. I've researched the engine and found that it was manufactured somewhere between 76 & 79. I'm not sure which harness I should purchase.
To start, I would like to purchase the engine and front harness. I recently dropped the engine back in place along with all my engine components. I want to run the engine and don't want to use the original harnesses, they're in real bad shape.
Also, I got a good price on a HEI distributor off a 1981 chevy with a 305. Need some help with the wiring. Once again, depending upon what engine harness I will use, I need to know what modifications need to be made to accommodate the new electronic ignition distributor.
