    Hi out there,
I just bought a 1966 Chevy PU but I neglected to ask the seller what size engine it has, and now that he has my money he won't return calls. Is there an identifying number or code ID somewhere on the engine? There are no info plates or tags anywhere on the truck, that I can see and I'm not sure where else to search.

    Thanks for your help.

Welcome aboard! I had the same problem when I first got my truck, might want to look at my post and see if the info helps you. Scroll down to about the 5th or 6th reply. There is a casting number that should help you determine your engine size.
