I have a 350 4 bolt with a casting # of 3970010, which I have researched pretty well. I am stuck on the engine identification # though. It is V0403TFS. I believe that the V is for Flint, 04 for April, 03 for the third day of the month, but what does TFS stand for? The suffix # is also T9J515461 or 19J515461 (hard to read), what do the first three numbers or letters stand for? I believe the last six are part of the VIN. This motor was in a parts truck I bought, and I am considering rebuilding it for my 60. I appreciate all help.
