I have a 1962 chevy fleet with a striaght 6 and im not sure if it is a 235 or a 261 the number i got off the block is c624435, I measured the cylinders and they are 3 9/16 of an ich diameter. can anyone help me?
Check the internet. It took me about an hour and a half to find the correct information. Quick tip though if it has "captains bars" and is painted Olive then it is a 261. It is tough to find the captains bars, I had to degrease the engine then get about in the hood compartment to see them.( || )
