    Living history. Lets just hope they leave it as is. It would truly be a shame to change the visual appearance of anything.

    Most likely will fetch a heavy price if it ever goes up on the block. Hope they restore it back to at least drivable condition.

    I hope they take it apart and de rust it then whatever they want to make it look as it did is fine but RUST NEVER SLEEPS so leaving it As-Is will kill it sooner than later .

    Rust sleeps in the desert Nate, or maybe it's just in a coma, but your point is well taken, especially since there ain't no deserts in Tennessee.

    I met a guy over the weekend that had a '24 T Closed cab truck that was bone stock original ('cept for the Montgomery Ward water pump) and spent it's entire life in arid southern Colorado. All the paint was worn off and it had the nicest patina I had ever seen.

    rust doesn't sleep in the desert it just slows way down .

    I live in the Desert and I'm always fining prefect , un damaged tin that's paper thin and worthless.....

    That makes it dangerous too .
