Exaust Question

    I'm replacing my inline six to v8 and th350. My question is what did you all do to get to the muffler shop I'm goin with stock exaust manifolds so runnin open headders is not an option I've heard their is a chance that I could cause valve damage runnin open stock exaust any ideas thanks!,:cool:Tony

    I had mine towed to the shop on a flatbed. Thank God for AAA and a Hot Rod aware muffler shop within three miles !

    Most tow places are $50 to $60 short distances not to bad,dont know why but cops dont like open exaust:D

    I just drove it staight to the muffler shop with open headers. It was loud as hell but I made it no problem. Make sure you don't have any local laws that might prevent you from doing that.

    Here an option go buy the mufflers ur going to use in your exhaust system and temporarly bolt them to ur headers then u can drive to the shop fairly quietly and just have the mufflers taken off and used in the system where u want them to go. thats how i did it for one of my vehicles.
