factory assembly manual help

I guess I am really stupid, as I can not seem to find the right pages etc for my truck. Not sure how the book is index etc. I thought I could find the info, but having hard time. I have a 66 chevy with deluxe hearter and factory a/c. I am trying to find what parts are missing to make the heater work, but can not find the assembly page covering such.

Any help to help me understand how to look thing up would be appreciated.

New, only had the truck a couple of weeks.

Those assembly manuals dont appear to have any order to them( except for the reference numbers on the pages) and are meant to compliment shop manuals.You will have better luck with the shop manual.
