Does anyone have a factory installed in bed tire carrier in their longbed fleetside 73-87 fullsize Chevy or GMC truck? I have the bracket and want dimensional info to locate it properly before drilling holes. Thank You, Gregg
That' gonna be hard info to find. I would look at some aftermarket websites, that would tell you about where to mount it. I would think there needs to be some reinforcement to the backside. After you know your location, mount your spare on the mount (so the tire will be resting on the bed floor), then position, mark the holes and have at it.
